TristramTree is a family run business providing a range of tree care services, from our base in the beautiful village of Comrie, Strathearn.
Tristram has been climbing mountains, sea-cliffs and trees all his life, and interests in arboriculture and photography were a natural progression throughout. Having worked, and played, in some of the more extreme environments on Earth, he has a passion for helping people achieve goals they aspire to, while helping protect and preserve the natural ecosystems they inhabit.
Tristram started his career working for a well known Scottish out-door retailer, while gaining experience climbing, skiing and biking in the Scottish highlands, North America and the European Alps, towards becoming a British Mountain Guide. The dreams were smashed however, when injuries sustained in a fall climbing in Norway forced him to re-think his career plans. He spent the next 15 years working for the NHS, then latterly in the oil and gas industry as a field engineer, before leaving in early 2022 to spend more time with his wife and two boys.
His arboricultural skills have been proven and honed while spending time as part of a crew for a well respected tree care specialist, and gaining relevant professional certifications. A dedication to learning being the bedrock throughout.
Tristram started trading on his own as TristramTree in March, 2023, based in Comrie, Strathearn. Since then he has pulled together an excellent team of local tree surgeons, and have helped many residential and commercial clients deal with their trees and shrubs in a safe and professional manner. We are proud of our record of incident free operations, as can be testified by any of our previous clients.
